My 65 Coronet w/440 HP 491/276 CompCam 727 trans set up,,, in the city it still tends to run a bit hot in peak summer days.
It has a hi output water pump, 7 blade fan, and an aluminum 2 core radiator with a matching shroud.
In the city the idle is not always at hi RPM's so I think that's why I tends to run on the hot side.
I was given a brand electric fan in the box '16 3000 cfm with all the trimming's.
So I was thinking of putting it on the front of the radiator and use it to help with cooling.
Has any of you gents tried this before and do you think it is a good idea ,,, yes or no, or what do you guys think would a better way to go.
Thanks for the advise,
Jay Rod.
