I took my 2core rad. from my 64 polara 318 poly to the shop, If I remember right, and that can be a challenge,he said there was room for a new 3 row core and would be about $500. no way, not a restoration project,I will keep the original and change out to a new aluminum in the spring,The motor is built up alittle and need more cooling.It always ran alittle hot til I added a flokooler water pump, an original fan shroud and a 6blade clutch fan.

Rich will have to weigh in on this but I believe he had his original copper radiator changed to a three core and didn't really get any improvement.  However I don't think he had a shroud installed with that.  Seems like he saw an immediate improvement with his aluminium radiator even without the shroud which I think was installed later.

Go to http://www.usradiator.com/ and watch the 12 minute factory tour video, to see especially the copper radiator process.  At about 11 minutes in they discuss the aluminum cores.  I went with US Radiator because of the formed tanks - stock appearance with less welded seams - and American made to boot.  Most def going to add some bling under the hood.  ; )
