Doesn't. Go do a Google image search on 1965 Dodge Coronet wagon and compare what you see to the lens pics Gary posted.

 

I’m betting the lens he has, has holes around the outer edge to bolt it on since there is no access to it from the inside like there is in the trunk.

No need to "bet" or guess. Look at the pics. See for yourself. 

 

As an aside, I have been buying and selling NOS parts for 40 years and know that I am correct.

That word "correct" doesn't mean what you appear to think it means.
