You must mean Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket No. 3 - Good stuff too. One of the few sealants that resists gasoline.

I always had great luck using Permatex's AV gasket sealer. The stuff is sticky as hell but it works. I even sealed a 1/4 inch crack in the oil pan of my 426 MW with great luck.{late Sat nite and NO stores open on Sun. back then} :-)

Aloha, Permatex Gasket sealer works the best that I've seen. It seems to work even if there's a small amount of oil residue left on block. Well that's what I have found to work best for me. Mahalo C
