It boils down to what is readily available and cheap in 2014. After spending all last summer tapping into savings to keep a car running week to week, I totally get that now. As much as no one wants to hear it, if putting brand X parts in a car means the difference between your butt in a race seat on Saturday night and not in a race seat on Saturday night due to a tight budget, it is a no-brainer. All you have to do is open a Speedway Motors, Allstar Performance, or Performance Bodies catalog and you will instantly know what I mean.
