It turns out the 1973 C-body spindles were a 1 year only deal (this also includes late model year 1972 when they made the switch to the unicast rotors). Mine weren't hard to find, but that was about 10 years ago.I played around with Napa's website too. I compared parts numbers for all front end brake parts between '73 and '76 C-bodies. The only parts they share in common are the outer wheel bearings. Calipers and rotors are different part numbers too.I read on another site that '74 to '78 C-body spindles (which are the same) use a larger diameter upper ball joint. I can't seem to find anyone who has made them useful for a project like ours. Necessity is the mother of invention! It seems as the '73 spindles become more scarce, someone will figure out how to make the '74 to '78 setup work. It may be possible if more of the front suspension components are swapped... but that's only my speculation.
