What's the  part number for the gasket they are giving you? Like a VICTOR REINZ G25936?

With all the supplemental part numbers over the years to original PN may not help. If you can find an old-time parts store, especially one with a seasoned old-timer working there, you can bring in the air cleaner and go through the store's stock to find a gasket that will work. Keep us posted as to your progress please.
