My folks had a 9 pass one with the 2bbl 383. It was about the best car they ever owned.  A real beast and extremely easy on the mpg's.  They got around 25-26mpg on the hiway with it. Really!

I just purchased a 63 Dodge 440 wagon with a 383 that is running. I first drove a 65 Cornet 500, starting in 1964 and it was awesome fun. This will be a tribute car for my father (he bought the 65 as a family car - even with the bucket seats). The wagon will also be a parts getter around town to showcase my auto glass business. Looking forward to tips on a light restoration. Steve
