Re: 65 Satellite with no NSS and back up lights

Here's some info to help you figure out the year of your tranny. From extrememopars.com

When you hear the word's Torqueflite Automatic, and Chrysler's A-833 four-speed, two other word's come to mind, strength and durability.
The 727 Torqueflite is not that complex. When compared to the other automatic transmissions.
There has been many that have put stock Torqueflite transmissions behind engine's pumping out over 600 horsepower and realize quickly why the 727 Torqueflite has always had a great reputation.
1962-1974 Most automatic transmissions are dated with an assembly serial number, found on the drivers side pan rail.
This consists of assembly plant, part number, 10,000 day calendar date, and build sequence.

Subject: 65 Satellite with no NSS and back up lights

I have a 65 Satellite that had no NSS or back up light switch. My car has a console. I had a leak at the NSS and the local trans shop replaced it with a 2 pin switch which won't work. I do not know what year mu 727 is. Will a 1 pin switch work and if so, does anyone  have one and a wiring harness from the trans to the starter relay? I've got to get this fixed for safety reasons. Also, does any one know where and how the back up light switch is mounted? If anyone has one I could use it. Back up lights would be nice. I really appreciate your time and thanks.
