Re: An intermittent starting issue...



Thank you, Jim and Jimmy. (HA!) The thing that gets me thinking it's not the relay that is at fault is that if I clean the connection and tighten (squeeze) the terminals, the car starts fine for a while. A new relay is only $12, but I'm just not so sure the one I have is bad, or even wonky.

One thing that I forgot to mention is that when I do experience the click, I also lose the dash lights, and it won't even click again. It's just *dead*.

You can squeeze the spade terminals ,
i'm just wondering if it isn't the relay.
