If it has a Plymouth instrument panel it is Canadian.   The VIN for a Canadian 1964 Dodge 440 begins with 4249 for a six and 5249 for a V8.  American Dodge 440 V8 would be 624x. 

The weird VIN numbers also include Canadian-built 1964 Valiants - the Canadian V8 models start with "7", which in the US is for a 6 cylinder Dodge Dart.

No engine detail.

Canadian 1964 Dodges came with slant six, 313 poly V8 or 383 V8 with 4-bbl.   No Max-Wedge in Canada.

By the way, Max-Wedge cars were built only in Detroit.  Thus a Detroit-built Dodge 440 Max-Wedge would be 6242xxxxxx..

For a Detroit-built Dodge, the engine is under QR on the tag - 08 for for a 415 bhp 426 wedge or 09 for 1 425 bhp 426 wedge up to May 1.   14 is for a 365 bhp 426 wedge.
