Interesting that even the wheels are not to be re-used. Have seen the wheels run on ‘30’s jalopies with conventional tires........ These are even MoPar space saver wheels......... From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
On Behalf Of Hall, Ricky L Anyone try fitting a space saver spare up to our cars? My ’62 Dart’s spare is pretty rotten and the wheel isn’t much better. Searching around online I see our 5
lug x 4.5” bolt pattern is the same as many cars, Mazda, Honda, Mustang etc (same as 114.3mm). The mid ‘90’s and up Mustangs often had 15” steel or aluminum compact spares, might be the hot ticket if it clears the brakes and suspension at least on the rear..... Or carry a small air compressor, plugs, slime etc.... --
