Jim,You are qualified to be a deckhand !! Yes, that is correct; they are referred to as inboard turning wheels (propellers). If both propellers turned in the same direction it would almost be impossible to steer the boat. I have seen the clutches on same direction turning engines rigged up backwards. In other words; one engine in forward gear and the other engine in reverse gear when both controls are in the forward position. (requires different propeller pitch..different lesson)
