Part # for a 62 V8 K frame is 2204151. Part # for a 63-65 V8 K frame is 2401057. This out of a Mitchell crash book. 63 dodge headlight trim rings were $3.25.

Back about five years ago when I did the 6.1 mod to my 63 Fury no one made anything, did I say nothing, nada, zilch, for 69 and back. I just fabricated mine using stock 63 mounts, steel plate, and some welding. You know that B & E body K frames will interchange? 66 and newer the engines are about 2 inches closer to the firewall. If your interested in changing your K-frame the 66 & newer, will give better weight transfer and more than likely a better prefabed mount selection.

Hi all,

Still having problems getting the 5.7 hemi installed in my 62 dart. It seems

no one has ever heard of the one year frame design of my k-frame. I bought

spool motor mounts from bouchillon performance and they said they would

work, But the top perches that bolt on top of the frame are too short. The

perches bolt on so maybe I can make ones that are higher to work with the

spool mounts. I called them and they said they never heard of my k-frame and

I must have the wrong one for my car. Anyone ever heard of this problem ? ?

Really need some help.
