I should have the final machined casting in hand to test next week –
shooting for Wed., April 2nd at the Bell Gardens foundry 90201 zip code. I
am looking for a pair of the 318 Poly steel motor mount brackets to mount to our
test block to set in a 64 Plymouth that Javier has in the lot. Or if we
have a volunteer with a 62-66 Poly 318 car that would like to offer his car for
the manifold swap to check for hood clearance and fit – that would be above the
call of duty.
Additionally, I hope to borrow the manifold and take it to the San Diego
County area and do a test fit on a Poly equipped 1962-66 car as well; Red
Barrett has volunteered his Mopar but I would like to have another person on
standby as well.
I live in Santee so if anyone would like to help out by test fitting the
manifold on their car and reinstalling the OEM unit, they will get to see what
this manifold looks like up close.
