I have an ideah that might work. Go to a Hobby store that sells modle car 
paint. You can get little spray cans of color. . Candy apple red is a base 
coat of gold with a transparent red that is sprayed over the gold. That 
transparent red might do the job on faded lenses.....................MO

Anyone know if there is a way to salvage tail light lenses that have 
discolored, probably from the sun? I have a couple from a 1962 Plymouth that 
are usable driver quality except for the discoloration that makes the lens 
more orange than red.  I hate to toss them out. Someone with a car with no 
lenses could use them.
