RE: Wanted - Driver's side exhaust manifold 318 Poly



THAT’S WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET THE POLY INTO MY VALIANT. I HAVE A 4 SPEED  IN AN A BODY WITH THE POLY ENGINE.  TALK ABOUT A SNUG FIT YOWIE!! BUT ITS IN THERE!  PASSANGER SIDE I USED THE CENTER DUMP. OTHERWISE THE FILTER GETS IN THE WAY.  FYI  IF YOU HAVE THE ROOM  ford sb.headers use the same port spacing as the poly and poly flanges are available on ebay. Or I can have a set made . then weld the flange to the headers. But with the 67 valiant being so snug I just could not get them in on the driver’s side. Passenger side would not be hard. Who wants to run tube headers on one side and not the other??? Well not me but I may change my mind im weird!!

I am thinking the driver’s side can be cut, rotated and welded.  Thus creating one for the passenger side.  Let me know if you have a driver’s side manifold.....

Rear dump for the driver’s side.
