'62 Plymouth Sport Fury

Fender emblem question. On a 1962 Plymouth Sport Fury's fender emblem there is a bar below the name with equal panels of red-white-blue. Was there ever a bar that said Golden Commando under Sport Fury. Note that the emblem would be in the same location ahead of the front wheel. The car would have a 361 4bbl engine.
