This is something you have to shop around for. It comes down to man hours and where you are located. I would not want to have this work done around NYC, "forget about it". My manifold was done in the Lynchburg, VA. area and I paid $300. back in 2006. I don't know how the economy has affected this type of man hour work. Because of all the billet used in this project I decided to do the manifold for the overall look. Times were good back then and money was a little more available.

Subject: Re: Finish options for intake?
Thanks for the replies. Steve, I checked the Eastwood stuff and it comes in Black, Grey, & Clear. It looks like a good choice once I get it polished up. Which brings me to Nick's intake, very nice. I like the highly polished look. Wondering what the polishing set you back?

While I've got my engine dismantled one thing I'd like to do is come up with a better finish for my aluminum intake. Any suggestions for a finish I can apply myself to keep it nice and bright. I would probably need to have it bead blasted first to get the dull finish off of it.
