I've had some warped cast iron exhausts machined straight at the machine shop. Maybe that is an option?
There was an article in Mopar Action magazine years ago comparing factory cast iron manifolds. I've found and lost that article several times; currently it's lost so I can't tell you their conclusions. IIRC, the "log" style manifolds were the most restrictive and the big block truck exhaust manifolds the least restrictive. The later performance big block 440 6-pack type motors had performance exhaust manifolds. I can't remember if the 1962-1964 413/426 Max Wedge Exhaust Cast Iron Manifolds were tested.
Thanks, Gary H.
