Also, disassemble and clean the OTHER ends of the cables, where they bolt to the engine and the starter. All those high current junctions should be clean and tight! apply plenty of DIELECTRIC GREASE to both ends of the battery cables and they will not give you trouble for a long time.

Hi All,Turned the key on my 300L convertible today, the idiot lights came on for a second as they're supposed to do, heard a click by the engine bay and then nothing. There was no power to the car. Got out and jiggled the negative ground (disconnected a reconnected it). Checked that the lights came back on when I opened the driver's door. Turned the key and the same thing. Heard a single click and no electric. This started to happen the last time I drove the car and is now completely preventing me from starting the car today. What's the issue my more knowledgeable Mopar Fanatics? Bad battery terminal? Bad starter? Other? Thanks, David M. New Jersey -- -- --Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
