That 225/75 is a very tall tire as opposed to what came on the car stock. I fit 225/70/15 on 7 inch cop rims on the front of my 65 Belvy ll with no clearance
issues. That as I recall is a 27 inch tall tire. How is the ride height in the front? Can you crank up the torsion bars?

My bad-- I thought 0 offset meant right in the center of the wheel width. Maybe I should take the rims off the car and get an actual backspacing. On a six inch rim , I would expect about 3 1/2" backspace.

I have searched the web till I am dizzy. Maybe you can give me a short-cut.
1964 Dodge B body. 15 X 6" rim - zero offset. Tire size on it now 225 - 75R - 15
Problem: the front of the tire rubs the lower fender well front edge at the bottom..
I need a smaller diameter and maybe a little narrower tread & section width.
It must be blackwall ( No raised white lettering ) and as plain and smooth on at least one sidewall
as I can get. Easier cleaning and I like that look. Brand not important and not high priced.
What are you useing that may work for me? Thanks for any input.......................MO
