RE: Front tires

I believe they do, I am running Cooper Cobra’s on my ’62 Dart. 245/65/15’s front, 275/65/15’s rear. They have raised while on one side, and I think the other side has no raised. I opted for the raised white letters out, as it suits my car. So my memory may be faulty. But I am fairly certain the other side was flat….

On my Dart, we opened up the leading edge of the front wheel openings, and cranked up the torsion bars, so I have good clearance. My bodyman is good, so you can’t tell by looking that the wheel opening have been modified. I still have a good “rake” to the car, with the front sitting a good 4” above factory, the rear at least 7 – 8” over factory. With the paint I have, and the 80’s Ram 15x8.5” turbines, those big tires and wheels look pretty good. The tires don’t even look all that big, unless you roll up behind the car…..

Not the best picture of the car, but the only one I have with the new wheels. I have a couple of trim clips I need to hunt down so I can reinstall 2 pieces of trim and get some good pictures of it…

Thank you very much Ray, this is exactly the info I was looking for.  I did find tech info on diminsions of metric tires, after I made my post.  We have a COOPER dealer close by, do they have at least one smooth sidewall?.....................MO
