I agree with you. As long as its not giving me any problems, Im going to keep the points. It runs great. When I rebuild then I will swap in the electronic

Was it a Pertronix points replacement unit or a complete distributor and ECU unit?  Got the Pertronix for the Satellite but sticking with points for a while, wondering what I will face when the time comes for the change.

Hi y'all, just checking in.

I installed an electronic ignition conversion kit to replace the old crapped out points distributor on the 383 engine in the '64 wagon over the week-end.

It was so easy a Chevy guy could have done it
