Hi – I had the heater core on my 65 Bel replaced at the local radiator shop. It was an easy job for them. Don’t recall the price but it was less than $100. It sounds from your description that the temperature control valve is OK but make sure they check it out at the shop. Bob from Maine From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of sniper68648@xxxxxxxxx I have a heater core, mine is good call me at 402 608 0479 thanks John When I turn up the heat lever I get a lot of steam in the car. First time I ever had the heat/defrost. I'm guessing it's time for a heater core? I looked quite a few places but can't find one. Does anyone know where I can get one? Maybe I have to rebuilt it like a radiator? Or, size one up from a more modern car?
