--Yeah that is one sexy land yacht. My buddy has one that`s like 1 of 84 built. Not sure what that rare thing is but he put a 440 in it with the long ram intake on top. Looks really cool but he says the smogger 440 "doesn't go for shit" In his words.

Subject: Re: '62 Ragtop on the market soon
It was a tough decision. My wifes logic won out :( It would be nice to hang on to, but won't have the garage space I have in Omaha, and can't see leaving it outside (even though "it never rains in Southern California" ;) ).

No rust on bumpers, but dull and could use rechrome. It's killing me, but as soon as I get the brakes fixed, I will selling my Plucked Chicken (1962 Newport Convertible, 361cu).I had been unemployed for a while, and the first job offer is in Calif. and there will be no room for the Newport.
Speedo works but made so much noise I disconnected. amp, temp gauge work, oil pressure and fuel gauges do not work. I don't know if it's the senders or the guages, but I have a complete dash Globe with gauges that will be included with the car. Original radio works.Body has some door dings and small dents but NO rust. i suspect the drivers door is from a dodge 880, cause the widow crank is different. She needs a decent paint job. Rockers were patched poorly but will include a NOS rocker from a 4 door you can use for patching)Tires have about 700 miles on them on new 15" chromies, also will include original wheels and hubcaps. Don't have a jack.here are some pictures of her... keep in mind she is takes better pictures, than real life.. she is a 20 footer. http://www.timelesstransport.I will let you know when it is up for sale, just thought I give you guys a heads up if know someone was looking for a '60s ragtopcom/2011/what-a-chauffeur- drives-on-his-day-off/
I appreciate the people on the forum that gave me so much help with this classic, just wish I had gotten the chance to finish the job.
