I have bought several of these engines in the past, about a 1/3 of them are
on propane, not a problem there, they still use the same intake, and have found
them to be super clean inside compared to the ones that were ran on
gas,,,,,,some have had truck style heads on them, and some car style,, all of
them have had the good steel cranks, I also have been told that boring to 440
specs is not a problem, but with all boring a sonic check of the bores should be
done,,, the ones I have bought have been in the 500-600 price range
