It has not been mentioned, but am assuming that he has the correct
transmission for the engine group he is working with i.e. A engine
or B engine,,,,,, that being said yes changing the rooster comb should be
the only mods needed for the swap, however changing the front shaft to accept
the newer style convertors might be a thought, and of course a new style
driveshaft will be needed as well
