OK, if your front rotors are “dragging severely” you may have not chosen/received the proper disc-drum master cylinder.  If you use a drum master cyl. for disc brakes it will cause the front calipers to drag.  A drum master cyl. has a 10lb. residual pressure valve in it that holds excess residual pressure on the calipers and will certainly cause them to drag “excessively.”  You also need to match the right “size” master cylinder piston with your brake system; disc to drum or disc to disc.

Lastly, it would be helpful if you signed your e-mail with a name or “handle” so we can properly address you.

Let us know what brand/part #/piston size of your master cylinder.

The brakes are dragging but pretty severly.   Right now I am wishing I have not gotten rid of my drum system....

Guys I have a dilemma... A long time ago I went with a swap out of my front drum brakes on my 65 Coronet to disc brakes with spindles from a 78 Aspen and then new calipers, rotors, master cylinder and power brake booster.

I used a proportioning valve from a chevy system but it just aint working right.... the calipers won't release.   IT's driving me nuts.... The rod in the booster is adjusted right so it comes all the way back and does not interfere with the master cylinder return....

Any help in curing this probelm would be appreciated...
