Something for thought when looking at older 413 engines. The last year for Plymouth with a 413cu.in. was 1961, ( we're not talking about the 62' 413 Max Wedge). My 1961 Plymouth Fury is a 413cu.in. 375hp Sonoramic Commando. The tranny is a T-85 3-speed. There is a Plymouth 413 engine for sale not far from me and it has a A-488 Torqueflite (cast iron to 1961). The owner told me that the crankshaft flange may be different and not mate to a A-727 Torqueflite (aluminum 1962 - later). I've not seen the pre-1962 crankshaft flange but this is just something to think about.

No, the 413 was not an option for 1964 B body Dodge or Plymouth police cars.
The 413 was an option only in 1964 Dodge 880 police cars.
The 413 was not available in any 1964 Plymouths.
Thanks,
Gary H.
