Seems to me,you'd have to measure the thickness of the hub the shoulder goes through, and the thickness of the hole of the mag, then find a correct length stud. Finally a acorn with the correct depth for the threads that will go in it....

Do the threads come all the way through the lug nut if so you should be ok.

Yes both beveled for centering.
Sorrry meant to use this one. Bevel on both?
Yes, Bill. There's a bevel!
Does the wheel and or the nut have a bevel where the nut contacts the wheel?
Hi Bill, We can only get 3 full turns (about 3 threads). It's about 1/3rd of what we need or about 1/4" shy of where the specs say we should be for safety.
Thanks for the question as that will hopefully lead to a viable answer!

How far can you thread the nuts on?
Hi All, Eager to mount a set of Torq Thrust wheels on my 300K Ram. But we're running into a safety issue.
The 1/2" diameter studs which are pressed into the hub and the drum aren't long enough. We've tried standard lugs (LH/RH) from Classic Industries but there just isn't enough bite to be safe. Research "suggests" that the set up should use acorn-style lugs and not sleeve-type.
As background, the wheels are early 1970s Torq Thrust-style units from Appliance Plating (AP) in 15x7.
Looking for information on how to safely mount these wheels on the 300. Safety is paramount and it's important that the wheels be firmly attached to the car (for obvious reasons!).
Many thanks for any and all advice/suggestions/leads!
