Don,

I'm running low block but the concept is the same.  I have a complete
MSD ignition system.

- pro-billet distributor

- digital 6+: I'm very happy with it as it has a lot features for the
price and you don't have to mess with plugin modules for the rev
limiter.  plus the 2-step is a must for any kind of racing and start
retard (you will not need that at 9.5:1 compression).

- blaster HVC coil -- required for the digital 6+

-  crank trigger ignition: it won't make you go faster but you can
fine tune your timing to a 1/4 degree and your timing is rock solid
