Window regulator handle removal 62 Newport

I am trying to remove the door panels on my 62 4dr Newport. I am down to the window regulator handle. Can anyone tell me if it is pushed on with a clip like the old GM cars? I don't see anything on the outer area to remove so I am guessing I need to get behind it somehow. It is really tight and I have no idea how to get behind it if it has a clip holding it on?
