'65 Satellite Convert Pogress

Solved a couple of issues with the car this weekend that have had me stymied for a while. Looks like I might finally get this car to Carlisle this year.

I was trying to get the wing window frame installed. Just needed to loosen the side glass brackets and in it went. Duh!

The seal on the top over the windshield has been a real PITA. Could not get the ends that wrap around over the top of the wing window was to hold in place. Been going over numerous photos of this area and realized the gasket was too short. For whatever reason, I had another of these gaskets (which is more flexible, also) and compared it to the one in place and saw the difference. Pulled out the installed gasket, installed the other unit and it works. 15 minutes and it's done.

The major issues left are a leaking power steering box, leaking tranny and a leaking freeze plug in the block. Resolution of the first two is get a rebuilt unit from Steer and Gear and replace some seals on the shift mechanisms. The freeze plug is okay for now with a rubber plug but I'd like to get it fixed with the proper brass or steel plug. Any suggestions on a sealant that I should use?
