Sounds like a car in a box - you know, all the VIN numbers, etc cut off the original and welding into the new one. Sounds more like a recreation/clone than an original. I've got the battery tray from my original '65 Belvedere I raced in the early 70's in my current car, does that make my current the '70's car?
