I do not know about this car, but I think New Yorkers typically came with 4bbl 413 engines. I agree the big Chryslers, especially Imperials, all to often got demo derby duty! On the back seat this particular example: it still has installed the clear plastic seat cover popular back in that era. The car has apparently been owned a family for quite a while.
