The motor home power can and are normally completely different from the car application. Most times you only land up using 20-30% of the parts for a car swap.Every thing can be different and they normally have special application parts designed just for motor homes. Tranny,s are different with drive shaft brakes on them, special gearing, pan,s and cooling. The motors have heads for torque only and cam, intake, ignition, can be used for start up use,but don,t do much for performance.Water pump can be a 1 use only and pulleys, alternator is a high output,30 pound unit for the motor home.I would post a complete set of pictures to see what you have here,as far as usable parts, like I said, you will most likely toss every thing in front of the motor and on top and the exhaust.Since I have allot of people emailing me about this all the time and from personnel experience, the short block can be used, with a oil pan swap and pickup.mrmopartech

Good question for all, seeing lots of motorhome 440's and trans ready to run for a cheap price, building low budget stuff is at the top of my list. question, are these a bolt in and just as good as engine as most stock 60's big blocks? are the transmissoins a bolt in, i noticed a huge trans mount, but not sure if the tailshaft was the same or adaptable, thanks Russell

My first 1962 Chrysler was affectaly named "Tuna" I'm sure you know why. My current Chrysler's name was "Rosie" due to her color, but she's lost that name and is now known as "Creamsicle" Again, due to her soon to be colors.
I only name the Chryslers......weird. The Jeep is just a Jeep, the Mercury was just a Mercury, Oh wait...the 1974 Ford Pinto I had was called "Drof Otnip" as it was a backwards little POS, but he ran great for the 4 years and 150k I put on him back then
