Anyway, though I haven't taken a damper off of an old Mopar, I have on new ones. I simply grab the damper itself with a strap wrench to keep it from turning. If you have a manual transmission, I believe simply putting it into gear will work. Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.
--I am guessing that someone has a great trick for removing the damper bolt while the engine is in the car and the oil pan is on. Also, the bolt is a right hand thread right?ThanksDavid--
