Probably. If that is so, visit the "Front Suspension and Steering" section of
http://1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/restoration-sources.html
and click on the FirmFeel (FFI) Sway Bars link. They sell new, heavy duty units
and if you call them they can answer specific questions.
 
I've not heard that either of the original styles is superior, btw.
