Vic I find that NAPA (at least my local one) has a very good selection of automotive wire and connectors. There should be a chart on your wiring diagram that shows what gauge each wire is. At least I know the diagrams in my factory service manuals do.

Subject: General Wiring Question
Now, I have a wiring question (or two). I don't particularly want to buy a new wiring harness for my car but I do have a bunch of wires I would like to replace. I have a nice colored wiring diagram but it does not indicate the gauge size of the wires. How do you determine the wire size? Is all the wiring the same size?
I see that the stock braided wire wrap used on the factory harness is starting to crumble. Stock-like material is available from several sources including Year One but comes in many different diameters. Does anyone have experience replacing wire wrap on their cars?
