Hi, I am toying with getting a 66 dart 2 door post here that is very straight and solid, decent interior, runs and drives slant 6 /auto and a square title.Guy says he will take 1250 for it, which seems too much to me for one of mopars all time ugliest creations, but it would make the perfect cover to stuff a bunch of odds and ends i have laying around. such as a small block ( 318) and a 4 speed, front disc swap from the 73-up duster swap and a 8.75 rear. . 1) Now refresh me if I am wrong: the v8 swap in WOULD NOT require a k frame swap?? I recall they are the same in 64-66 a-bodies between slant six and v-8 2) I have a clutch pedal set up from a 64 valiant. would those slip right in? 3) I have a 1966 A-body 4 speed that has the small output shaft slip joint, not ball and trunnion. ( same as automatics) one year only I was told.., which would be good because I have a bunch of 904 auto drive shafts laying around. Anything else I am not thinking of? My idea would be to do this using only stuff I have or can get super cheap, no 360 strokers with Edelbrock heads.
