I need a built push button 727 and converter for my MW clone. I have the original 63 BB 727 from what is a 383 police pursuit car as a core. Is this trans any different than a stock 727?
I am considering a rebuild. Can anyone suggest a list of parts that I will need to ad or upgrade at the minimum to make the tranny shift good and last. I want to keep the orig. buttons and the automatic shift option and engine braking in 1st. Shift around 5800 ?, 4.2 lever, etc. What mods are mandatory? Which bands, steels and plates work best in a street strip car? Which shift kit?
It is a 63 330 2 dr, 440, MW top end.
Anyone have a 2500 rpm stall 19 spline converter?
