I've been thinking about using a Mopar Performance 484 cam for my 63 Sport Fury . Don't know how everyone else does with this cam ?  It's a stock 73 440 with forged crank. I have a ported set of milled 906 heads to increase the CR. I will probably run 3.55 gears. 

By the way , found another 65 BB 727 today to go with it. Went ahead and grabbed it since they're not so easy to find.

Running a mostly stock '64 413 ahead of a 4 speed and 3.23 gear in my '62 Belvedere 2 door sedan around '73 or so, I put in an advertised "280 degree .480 lift" Crane cam.  Flat top pistons, headers, mostly running a single 750 AFB.  The cam was probably a bit too small and the gears too.  I tried 4.56's for a bit and that sucked, I was driving between Ft. Campbell and here on some of my days off to hang with the family.  The car ran great, nearly as smooth as stock, but I always felt like I left some on the table.  It was my daily driver right  I joined the army, and then saw the occasional street race on US 41A between Ft. Campbell and Hopkinsville, but no formal racing.

The engine for my current '62 is a 413 max wedge block which had been bored out to 426 .030 size.  (440 someone mentioned would be .140 over I think, probably impossible).  The machinist  going over it said the pistons were so loose that I would have some rattle but it would live for cruising duty.  We talked to Indy cylinder head right up the road about maybe cleaning up the bores to go 426 .040 over, they said they would waste my money on sonic checking if I insisted but don't do it.  So....I sprang for the sleeves back to stock 413, and had Ross custom make pistons.  The stock '62 max wedge heads have 87 cc chambers and my chambers checked out within 1 cc throughout.  The car is (according to Darrell Davis info) originally a 13.5:1 car, but I just didn't want to do that, I wanted to be able to cruise some, a little bracket racing, etc.  So I asked them to build the pistons to make a static CR of 10.5:1.   BTW those were $830 several years ago, I sold the 426 domed pistons to a list member to help out some on that.  Its a 3 speed T-85 car but I got it (from Roland Osborne) with a four speed in it, and the original 3.91 rear axle.  Tires 275R60X15.  It had headers when I disassembled but I have stock MW manifolds and exhaust I'll probably go with, purely for the look I admit.   I'm thinking a .509 MP cam or equivalent, although IIRC the original cam would have been a .520 or so.
