I've been on a wheel buying extravaganzalately, Craigs list is
yielding up some good finds. I picked up a real nice complete set(4)
of the above mentioned Appliance 5 spokes. They are a Chevy pattern but
at 25 bucks for the 4 I figured somebody will want them someday. Too
bad they are not 5on 4.5.
Yesterday I picked up a complete set of 14 inch 5 on 4.5 E-T five
spokes in good shape for 100 dollars. He also has a complete set of 15
inch Keystone 5 spokes for 100. Unfortunately not the Keystone
Klassics ( which are still made), these are a five spoke E-T looking
mag. Also found a pair of what I believe ( maybe) are the legendary
Hurst wheels. They are 14 x 6 with 5 on 4.5. But somebody spray
painted them white at one time so they look pretty cruddy. but under
the paint they appear pretty good. That's why I want to find that
site, to see if it's worth buying just a pair.
