A Gear Vendors unit is not applicable to a 1962-65 Torqueflite with the dual pump system.

Gary,
The OD Torqueflite extension housing is considerably larger necessitating a rework of the tunnel/floor for clearance. Check on the Gear Vendors unit. It requires small clearancing done with a hammer. I haven't checked availibility for early model Torqueflites so I can't say for sure they are offered.
