Re: torque convertor question

Hi Jack,
If your engine is a 1975 it would have a cast iron crankshaft and more like 8.5:1 C.R. A converter with a advertised stall speed of 3,000 RPM should get you in the ballpark.

question for you fine mopar folk..who would know what would be the best converter to use.

65 dodge 440 coronet convertible-440 bored .030. over with the max wedge top end-i put a push button set up in it with the 727-391 pos. rear end 275 60 15 tires-rear ... .484 lift hydraulic cam 284 duration.1975 motor i think it has a steel crank--flat pistons i think compression is around 9.5-1.
thanks for your help.
thanks jack
