Re: 4 post lifts

Oh okay I gotcha. I wish I could hear someone's review about those mid rise scissor lifts. There's a few different kinds. I want to have it higher than a jack can, safer, and be comfortable on a creeper or maybe if I'm lucky a stool. I want an open middle so if I ever wanna drop K frame and pull motor and tranny that way, along with underside maintenance.

Hey Jacob
Ours is 12 feet tall. Probably more than a regular garage would be. Our building is 30 x 60 with 15 foot ceilings. We can both stand up under and access anything we need. I am 6'1" and my buddy 6 even. Plenty of room. There is a trip rod across the top to stop the pump for high roof vehicles. So far only my 62 W-300 was tall enough to stop it and thats because of the roof light. The trickiest part of the install is adjusting the cables so it lifts perfectly even.

Loring, would that be considered for a garage with a low ceiling? I have a "normal" garage I suppose, I'm looking for something I can use in there but also have the ability to access transmission etc.

I purchased my Atlas 10,000 lb 2-post lift from Greg Smith Equipment
www.gregsmithequipment.com/4-Post-Lifts or
www.gregsmithequipment.com/4-Post-Lift-Combos

Great selection & prices. Depending on where you are in the country
you could pick it up yourself. They are great to deal with. As far as
price goes, mine was jut under $2K

I would recommend these guys in a minute. No affiliation, blah, blah, blah.
