Your thoughts are right. T is year 1963, FYI V is 64. 5 25 is usaully the assemble date. Though it seems odd that a Nov. cast block would be stamped for the same year (T) 63 and not for a 64 car which a Nov. block would have to go in.

Not sure of the other numbers. Maybe that was an irrigation pump engine or some industrial use.

I'm trying to decode a 413 block I have and hope you guys can help.
Here's the info.

Casting number 1852029-2

11-7-63

From what I can tell - 1852029-2 is a truck block - November 1963

On the pad:

AT41
306057
5 25 WT

I suppose the 41 should be 413 and the WT is water test. Don't know
what the rest of the numbers represent.
A - maybe .020 oversize bore ?
