In my opinion and from your description, a 426W 64-65 B-Body is a valuable car. The factory (?) 4 speed makes it even more so. The price seems right although the recent economic downturn may have dropped it's value a little. By all means, if the engine is the original or date coded correctly, pull it and store it. Build up a 440 or something else while you sow your wild oats. Then, when you are done, put the 426W back in it.
