Need Exhaust Manifold Advice - Again

1962 Newport 361

I got a good deal on a set of '68 C- Body Hp exhaust maniolds.

The pass side is ok.  The drivers side exits right towards the
steering box.  Muffler guy says it won't work.

What will fit the drivers side?  Are B-Body HP manifold exiting
somehwere else then the C-Body?  Is there a pass side I can flip
around?

Already had to trash shorty headers, hate to keep throwing money at
this thing.
